T he Center is a multi-purpose facility that
provides services for meetings, seminars, banquets, weddings, dinners, theater,
and fine arts. Conveniently located along historic Ridge Road in Munster,
Indiana (only 25 miles from downtown Chicago) and set next to the scenic Bieker
Woods, The Center is a modern, sophisticated, contemporary building.
Open since 1989, The Center serves Northwest Indiana and the South Suburban
Chicago area, and features an elegant dining room, which can accommodate over
400 guests, with a full-service kitchen overseen by our own Executive Chef for
any possible banquet needs. There are Meeting Rooms of many sizes to
comfortably accommodate smaller events.

professional world-class theatre in our intimate 450-seat theatre all year
long. From Broadway's brightest musicals and plays, to the Chicago-area

The South Shore Arts with its
5300 square foot Bachman Gallery, features fine art from local and regional to
national artists. SSA offers a wide range of classes in its
studio/classrooms, plus a delightful Gift Shop.

The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra is the
region's own premiere classical music organization. NISO features a full
season of classical and pops concerts performed at Star Plaza in Merrillville.
The symphony also sponsors a Youth Orchestra and a nearly one hundred member
chorus. The Women's Association sponsors the annual "Festival of Trees" display
in The Center's Atrium every December.

The Munster Chamber of Commerce office is
housed on the lower level at The Center. Its mission is promoting the
varied business and commercial interests found in the community. The Chamber is
active in events which promote Northwest Indiana as a whole.

The Town of Munster, under Munster Cable Television
, operates MUNCAB. Munster is one of the only communities in Northwest Indiana
operating its own cable-access studio, which can be seen on AT&T Cable
channel 16. "This Week in Munster" is MUNCAB's weekly talk show featuring
topics of local interest, plus coverage of other special events is
regularly programmed. The studio occupies the top floor of The
Center.
